ORT recently took some off-season fun runs down Breitenbush, the upper North Santiam, and Opal Creek in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. With our GoPro filming and editing skills on the rise, more videos are on the way!

Pan American Championships August 20-23 in Brazil

The Pan American Championships are being held in Foz do Aguassu, Brazil August 20 – 23, 2010! Check out the event website here. The race is on the Itaipu Canal, an awesome WW park. If your organization/team is interested in representing the USRA and USA in these games, please contact the USRA here or the Pan American Championship event organizers.

The 2010 USRA National Cup (R4) will be hosted at the UCWWF

The US National Cup will take place within the event structure of the Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival (UCWWF). Registration, timing, and results will be done separately from the UCWWF by USRA race officials. The 2010 US National Cup is essentially a dress rehearsal to prepare local coordinators to host the R6 National Championships in 2011.

The 2010 Upper Klamath Whitewater Festival will serve as the “R2 Super Bowl” for the West Coast. This will be a winner take all head to head mass start race which will be held in addition to events in the disciplines of kayak, cataraft, and R4 (click here for race schedule).
